I neither like nor understand the current trend of "yogurt, but some assembly required".

I feel like the @Dannon & @Yoplait yogurt construction/packaging approaches of previous decades were superior to this IKEA-esque garbage.

Is it some sort of end-run around yogurt patents or something?
