The plan, as I understand it, is the squirrel will be attracted to the real nuts, eat them, then see the Candyland™ peanut card...
...then hop into the box to eat the fake peanut/card, at which point the 5yo jumps out to trap it using the top of the Candyland™ box.

I’m skeptical it’ll work, but there’s a non-zero chance we end up with a squirrel loose in the house.
