It’s worth pointing out that there are no down escalators at EMB, FFS.
👆 I know Bob Powers doesn’t have a Twitter account but even 1 down escalator would mitigate some #a11y issues during st. elevator outages.

I've heard rumors that there is a concern that the escalators are so fragile that switching direction would likely break them.
