[redacted], a security engineer reviewing the proposed changes, recognized the server count/cluster topology just-in-time to save the day.
That was right after a couple of RIFs had diminished Twitter’s institutional knowledge.
None of that brain drain comes close to what happened last week. It’s not a question of if, but when, Twitter gets catastrophically unlucky.
