Today marks my 6th year working for @twitter. It's been a privilege to work with so many awesome and talented folks over the years.
Twitter is a weird, ineffable thing that has had an outsize impact (both good and bad) on the world.
Being able to contribute to that thing, even if only in a small, indirect way helps one find meaning beyond the definition of one's job.
That sense of meaning can bring a sense of pride when we get it right...
...or feelings of shame and sadness when we don't.

Twitter's complicated relationship with the world at large can make working here an emotional rollercoaster.

...on some truly innovative and important technology. The last 6 years have really been the highlight of my career.
So thank you to every Tweep I've worked with and learned from over the years. I'm incredibly grateful to have had this opportunity...

Oh, and a special shout out to the remaining Tweeps from my NHO class: @joyousx, @e_hoogendoorn, and @foo_winston! Hope you are all still here in a year!
