I remember when Mudge had us send Twitter kernel and OS reports to a rando buddy of his in Texas.
An email from some dude showed up in my inbox saying Mudge had asked for this stuff.

Took a video chat with the VP of Platform to convince me that this was legit and this what Mudge had asked us to do.
AFAICT the guy just sent Mudge back a list of CVEs based on the version strings we sent him.
Anyway, I am convinced that, whoever he may have been in the annals of hacker lore, now he is just a fucking clown.
